This pilot is taking place at a hospital. We follow the leading characters of the young resident Dr. Luke Shaw (Constantin Cascante) and one of his interns (Gaia Passler) who is struggling with the new responsibilities as she goes through her first surgery. After losing her patient, she struggles with questions of guilt and failure. As she tries to come to terms with what has happened, she comes for advice to her young mentor Dr. Luke Shaw. We see how a relationship of trust and mentorship is established between the two, paving the way for a complicated relationship to come.
