LA Dangerous: Prima Parte displays a specific nefarious activity in Southern California’s entertainment industry. Duplicitous people can be found in any location; in this story, the opportunistic predator is Mark Seymour (Lee Montgomery), a man eager to use his power. This hotshot producer aims to take advantage of Jessica Coffield (Brit Landa), the ingénue seeking to get her big break, by introducing her to the up and coming European director Ethan Huntley who suspects Seymour’s intentions (Constantin Cascante). While the beginning premise of the film is not unheard of, the twists and turns that lead to the film’s finale are well hidden until the final scenes.
